THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE
This Notice is designed to help you understand the information I collect and how I will process, collect, use, retain and safeguard personal data. NB I never share personal information or personal data.
WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?
Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
PERSONAL DATA I COLLECT
When registering for classes or individual healing sessions data is collected via a health or client questionnaire completed by the client. I will also collect your personal data (your first name, last name and email address) where you request information about my services, sessions, classes, events, promotions and campaigns.
WHY DO I NEED YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
I will use your personal data to contact you and provide you with up-to-date information on my services and to inform me of your current health and personal circumstances so that I may provide maximum support to you during your session(s).
DATA RETENTION
As required by my insurers, data (health forms and client questionnaires), will be kept for at least 7 years following the last occasion on which the last session was given. Other data (email address, first name, last name) will be kept on my mailing list programme (Mailchimp) which is GDPR compliant.
YOUR RIGHTS
Individuals are provided with legal rights governing the use of their personal data. These grant individuals the right to understand what personal data relating to them is held, for what purpose, how it is collected and used, with whom it is shared, where it is located, to object to its processing, to have the data corrected if inaccurate, to take copies of the data and to place restrictions on its processing. You may unsubscribe and remove your details at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email. I do not share data with third parties.
PROTECTING YOUR DATA
I will take all appropriate steps to protect the confidentiality of your data. Hard copies will be kept in a file which will be locked. Electronic documents will be kept on a password protected computer.
