Soft natural landscape evoking calm, grounding and connection to the body

One of the things I’ve been noticing lately is that I can stay with myself for longer.

When something uncomfortable is moving, I don’t get pulled away from it quite so quickly. There is less urgency to analyse it, explain it, or make it mean something straight away. Less tendency to disappear into distraction. More ability to listen, stay present, and let the deeper process unfold in its own way.

If agitation or anxiety starts to surface, I notice it sooner, and respond more gently. Sometimes that means walking slowly, almost like a walking meditation, so I can return to myself and stay present with what’s there.

That has changed a lot.

What once felt harder now seems to move more easily. I feel lighter. Clearer. More at ease. It’s showing up in my healing and intuitive work too. As I stay close to the body, my state begins to shift.

A sense that something is opening, or wanting to be more fully embodied? A deeper truth? A greater freedom? Less shaped by old patterning, and more rooted in what is real?

There is something else I’ve been noticing.

It doesn’t feel like one small layer at a time anymore. At times, several layers seem to move together. Patterns, responses, old ways of holding. And because I can stay with myself for longer, they don’t need to be pushed away or managed in the same way.

Perhaps this is part of how what we’ve carried begins to release.

It doesn’t all happen at once. It comes as the body begins to feel safe enough to let go of what it has been holding.

And when I stay in relationship with myself in a different way, everything changes.
I can feel what’s there without needing to override it or get pulled into it.
There’s space for both the quieter, deeper layers and the more active, responsive parts of myself.
When there is enough steadiness in my system, I can stay with what’s there without becoming overwhelmed. If anxiety or unsettledness appears, slowing down helps. Being in nature, barefoot on the earth, is one way I quickly come back to myself. It helps me notice what’s there, respond gently, and give something deeper space to unfold.

It feels like a lived sensation now.

As though my inner healer and wise woman can be heard more clearly.

A quiet knowing. A deeper listening. The more I trust the body’s intelligence and surrender to that deeper flow, the more change seems to happen naturally.

I’m not needing to force things in the same way. Listening is becoming easier.

It’s simple, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.
The more I listen, the less I find myself trying to fix or force anything. That effort starts to fall away. Listening becomes easier. I find myself more fully here in my body. And from there, I can hear the deeper wisdom that has always been there beneath the noise, the coping, the old defences.

So if you too are feeling that something is shifting, opening, or asking to be embodied more fully, perhaps the invitation is not to push harder.

Perhaps it is to listen more deeply.

To go gently.
To trust the pace.
To stay close to the body.
And to let what is true emerge in its own time.
