Yoga Therapy

Yoga therapy is a gentle, individualised approach to wellbeing that works with the body, breath, nervous system, and lived experience — not just symptoms.

It is especially supportive during times of change, illness, fatigue, stress, or recovery, when the body needs care rather than pressure. Sessions are adaptive, trauma-aware, and paced to meet you where you are.

The focus is on restoring steadiness, supporting rest, and rebuilding trust in your body’s natural rhythms — over time.

Who yoga therapy may support

  • If you are living with pain, fatigue, or a long-term condition
  • If stress or anxiety is affecting your sleep, energy, or body
  • If illness or life change has altered your relationship with your body
  • If you need support that is gentle, adaptable, and non-pushing

How I work

My approach is person-centred, gentle, and responsive. Practices may include breath awareness, mindful movement, sound, guided rest, and simple home practices.

Sessions are shaped around your energy, needs, and capacity on the day. There is no expectation to push or perform — only to listen and respond.

The supportive pathway

  • A short series of six sessions, usually weekly to begin
  • Followed by monthly sessions if helpful
  • With optional short home practices to support integration
